“Department faculty members should participate fully in the determination of department workload policy. Reappraisal of department workload policy at regular intervals is essential in order that established patterns of faculty responsibility may be adjusted to changes in such areas as the department's size, mission, structure, programs, and resource base. Department workload policies will be reviewed by the appropriate dean.”
