Chapter 1 The complex plane Sections 1.1-1.6
Chapter 2 Basic properties of analytic functions Sections 2.1-2.6
Chapter 3 Analytic functions as mappings Sections 3.1-3.5
Chapter 4* Analytic and harmonic functions in applications Sections 4.1-4.5
Chapter 5* Transform method Sections 5.1-5.5

*Selected sections will be covered from these two chapters, depending on class progress and/or interest.


Homework, Tests, and Grading

  1. Homework : Weekly homework will be assigned on Thursday and discussed the following Tuesday. Upload the homework problem for class presentation (submission time and name) if you want credit please type your solution.
  2. Grading : The final grade will be based on two midterms (50 pt each), and the comprehensive final (100 pt).
